Types of Membership

Membership of the Victorian Climbing Club may be one of the following types:  

  • Ordinary membership is open to any person who is at least 16 years of age. An application for membership from a person under 18 must be submitted by their parent or guardian
  • Concession membership is open to any person who is at least 16 years of age and has reduced financial capacity. This membership is open to concession and seniors card holders, and includes persons not in full-time employment, such as retirees, or government benefit recipients. An application for membership from a person under 18 must be submitted by their parent or guardian.
  • Student membership is open to any person who is at least 16 years of age and is a full or part-time student. An application for membership from a person under 18 must be submitted by their parent or guardian.
  • Family membership is open to any family group, including not more than two persons aged 18 and over. Children aged 16 or older are eligible for ordinary or student membership of the club. All family members must record the same address in the register of members
  • Guest membership is available by invitation only to individuals aged 18 and over. It provides a three-month opportunity to experience the club, though some membership benefits are limited.
